    Nettie descends through Michael, son of Peter and Susannah Carlotta Moch, brother to William who married Mary Steelsmith. Nettie is, at this time, Secretary of the DeWalt Family organization. She discusses the people she has personally contacted about the DeWalt Line. Wrote a number of articles, much of the research available on the Internet has some of her research information. Provides a family group sheet for PETER and SUSANNA CARLOTTA MOCK. Nettie mentions the death of her husband SAMUEL VERNER SLOAN, in 1957. Her daughter, ALICE V. SLOAN BARNETT also sent a note and has been active in researching the DeWalt line. Nettie mentions some other hobbies: flower arranging in which she has taken prizes.
