PATRIARCHAL BLESSING: Granger, Utah. 8 Aug 1929.
Given by Patriarch John Howard Bawden upon the head of Sister Frances Imogene
Love Robinson, daughter of John Albert Love and Dora May Abbott Love. Born
4 May 1909, Levenworth, Chelan, Washington.
Sister Frances Imogene Love Robinson, by Power and Authority of the Holy
Melchizedek Priesthood and as a Patriarch, I place my hands upon they head to
give unto thee a Patriarchal Blessing as the Spirit of the Lord shall direct.
Dear Sister, the Lord is well pleased with thy labors thus far through life and
he desires to give unto thee His most choice blessing that His children here
upon the earth are entitled to. Sister Frances, the History of the past
reveals these facts that you were faithful and you were loyal in your first
primeval childhood, and because of the integrity which you maintained you were
preserved to come upon the earth in the Dispensation of the Fullness of Time
and to be recognized as one of our Heavenly Father's jewels here upon the
earth, and you were born through a lineage which entitles you to these most
Sacred and Divine Blessings. Sister Frances, you are one of the children of
Ephriam, born heir to the Covenant which our Heavenly Father has made with that
particular branch of Jacob's family; hence, before you was born you was called
and selected to become one of our Heavenly Father's choicest daughters here
upon the earth and to receive a fullness of His Blessings. Dear Sister, it is
your privilege to receive all those blessings which the faithful Latter-Day
Saints are entitled to in the Holy Temple of the Lord. Remember, Dear Sister, that when you entered that Sacred Building certain promises were given to you if you were true and loyal that you would receive those blessings; that blessing which will entitle you to become queen indeed to labor for the salvation of our Father's children; these blessings will come to you through your faithfulness in time. Dear Sister Frances, your progenitors, that are behind the veil, are looking to you for relief, and the time will come when a record will be placed into your hands, revealing the identity of your kindred; and when that time comes, Sister Frances, see to it that you attend to every obligation which rests upon you and which will be for the blessing of those of your kindred. Sister Frances, it was your privilege, if you take that proper course, to live upon the earth to a good old age; It will be your privilege to live to see the redemption of Zion and to see righteousness prevail upon the earth. It will be your privilege to live to witness the Second Advent of the Messiah and to hear His voice and to feel of His administration, when He stands amongst His people as He did amongst the Nephites of Old; it will be your privilege to see these things in the flesh. It will be your privilege, Dear Sister, to witness the Return of the Scattered Remnants of Israel from the four (4) corners of the earth. It will be your privilege to labor in the Temple of the Lord and seal blessings upon your sex, according to your appointment. I bless you, Dear Sister, with perfect health both in body and in mind. I bless you that the visions of Eternity might be opened to your view and that the things of many generations might come to your understanding. Dear Sister, you shall be called to labor amongst the daughters of Zion and to safeguard them from the Tempter. It will be your calling to lead them in those channels which will place them in a safe condition. Dear Sister Frances, you shall never lack for food nor for reament, for the eye of the Lord is upon you and He will bless you with plenty, and your table shall always be spread with the bounties of life. I bless you that as years come to you that your faith shall increase and that the Power of the Lord shall rest upon you to the extent that many will be led to glorify the name of the Lord. Dear Sister, this blessing is what our Heavenly Father has for you and it will have its literal fulfillment borth in time and throughout Eternity; and through your faithfulness you will secure the Celestial Crown, which means a fullness of our Father's blessing; therfore, Sister Frances read these words often; reflect upon them and these things will be realized. Hence, in conclusion, Dear Sister, I bless you that the desires of your heart might be granted unto you, that you might have a representative here upon the earth; that you might have sons and daughters to gladden your heart and to give joy and comfort to you. Sister Frances, you shall always have a representative upon the earth, while the earth stands, which is one of the greatest blessings that can come to our Heavenly Father's children. Hence, Dear Sister, I place a seal upon you that you might be preserved from the power of the Tempter; that you might be preserved to fulfill and complete your mission. And I seal upon you Power to come forth in the MOrning of the First Resurrection, crowned with Glory, immortality and eternal life. This, Dear Sister, is your blessing, and if you live for these things they will all be realized; and I seal them upon you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, even so, Amen.

Uncle Ed Smith's Cabin (John's sister Alice husband), the Love family spent August to November 1931 here. This is the cabin in which Elbert and Melvin were in a big bear tried to get in. The boys would take a stick and bang it against a fry pan making a bang, as the bear would try to push on the door, the sound hurt the bears ears, shake his head and try again, each time he hit the door a big bang sounded. Eventually, the bear went away shaking his head. Melvin makes not of this incident in his brief history. (not sure who the 2 girls are in this picture)
